When Elizabeth and I first started talking regarding her and Andy’s engagement session and planning, she sent me a photograph of a bar that they had gone to and really loved. “Can we find something like this?”, she asked. So, I set off in search of the perfect bar that would meet the vibe that they were looking to achieve. Enter Grey Ghost Detroit into the conversation. I made contact with their events manager and found that the rental process was very affordable and easy! We scheduled their shoot and placed their drink order ahead of time. We had 3 FULL HOURS, with the restaurant and bar completely to ourselves to photograph this session! A photographer’s dream!

Elizabeth and Andy enjoyed a cocktail and some champagne as we photographed their session. Elizabeth had mentioned that she had hired a stylist to help her choose the perfect dress and asked if her stylist could come to the shoot. Not a problem! Leah Luxe was the perfect collaborator during this shoot and we worked together seamlessly. In fact, I’m really looking forward to offering her services to my clients for their session needs.
